Catholic Charities Honors Fort Plain Residents for Flood Recovery Efforts

On Tuesday, Catholic Charities recognized several Fort Plain residents for their efforts in rebuilding after flooding devastated the area in 2013.  Those honored include Fort Plain's former Mayor, Guy Barton, who died this summer. Catholic Charities of Delaware, Otsego, and Schoharie Counties recently became a subcontractor for the Nutrition Outreach and Education Program (NOEP).  As a subcontractor, Catholic Charities works with clients to provide Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) information and application assistance. Moscow Ballet Visits Sunnyside

Summer campers at Sunnyside in north central Troy got a special treat in July when ballerina Olga Aru from the Moscow Ballet came to give dance, movement, and cultural lessons. The program was part of the Moscow Ballet's "New Horizons" program, which gives underserved children knowledge and exposure to the arts.
