Since its opening in 1920, Camp Scully has been dedicated to serving underprivileged children in the Capital Region summer after summer. In line with this mission, Camp Scully is pleased to announce the creation of a Day Camp and additional week for summer 2010.
The day camp, offered to families at the lowest rate in the area, will provide quality programs accredited by the American Camp Association. Camp Scully will be the only accredited day camp in the Capital region.
The day camp will also act as a stepping stone for those younger campers who are not quite ready for an all week overnight camp. It will be offered for children ages 5-7 years old for $150 a week. This fee includes lunch and a snack for the children. The campers will participate in all aspects of the traditional camp experience from swimming to arts & crafts, games, nature hikes, and much more.
Also, for the last few years Camp Scully has run for 6 fun-filled weeks each summer, but this summer Camp is expanding its season to 7 weeks! This increases the number of children we are able to serve from 420 to 480.
